writer, and an authority on peak performance, bringing a wide variety of
talents, skills, and expertise to his work.
Mitch has developed a reputation among his peers throughout the world as a
unique and highly talented performer, gaining years of experience
performing across this country and around the globe, for venues as diverse
as television, cruise ships, revue shows, nightclubs, and theatres.

He has performed at most of the major magic conventions, including the SAM

York Magic Symposium.
Mitch received personal training under magic legends Neil Foster and
Channing Pollock, and gained greatly from first hand, informal advice and
guidance from such greats as Dai Vernon, Shimada, and Karrell Fox. For ten
years, Mitch lived and worked in Los Angeles, becoming recognized as one of
the top magicians in Southern California, and one of the best manipulators
in the country. Mitch has been featured on the same programs with many of
the top "Stars of Magic" (far too many to mention), as well as other
celebrities, just a few of whom include Harry Blackstone Jr., Doug Henning,
Lance Burton, Johnny Ace Palmer, James Dimmare, Penn and Teller, Elaine
Booslier, Rosie O'Donnell, and Dennis Miller.
His professional credits in the United States include
Harvey's Casino,
Lake Tahoe; the
Normandie Casino in California;
It's Magic
show at the
Variety Arts Center in Los Angeles;
Magic Island nightclubs in Houston
and Newport Beach;
Punchline Underground Atlanta; the
Body Shop in Los
Angeles;
Wizardz nightclub in Universal City, CA; and he is one of the
favorite performers at the
Magic Castle in Hollywood. Some of his
corporate clients include Merrill Lynch, Nestle, Horace Mann, RLI
Corporation, Kraft Foods, Caterpillar, Dean Witter Reynolds, and Nissan
Motors.
Mitch has also performed in Japan, Spain, Holland, Canada, and Mexico,
and has appeared on television programs on Fuji-TV and NHK-TV in Japan
and on the series,
Aixo es Massa, on TV3 in Spain.
His lifelong fascination and love of magic and the mystery surrounding
it have been the drive behind his ongoing exploration into the deepest
subtleties of his art. In an unconventional shift of focus in magic
from the traditional "how is it done?" to "why?", Mitch challenges his
audiences to suspend their disbelief and takes them on a whirlwind
journey of enchantment, adventure, and wonder into the world of the
mysterious. The result is a delightfully entertaining and memorable
experience for all.
Mitch's approach to magic is to treat it as an actual art form. He has
developed many practical techniques to easily apply this artistic
approach to any style of magic. Mitch has lectured extensively
throughout the United States, sharing his artistic vision and insights
with thousands of magicians, to rave reviews. And he has further
distilled these insights into a complete system to help magicians
quickly and easily learn to dramatically improve their magic and
invisibly integrate the
techniques of magic with the
artistic
expression of the individual performer. He is widely recognized as a
highly talented director and coach.
Mitch currently makes his home in Canton, Illinois, with his wife, Kathi,
and he performs a variety of magic entertainment, educational, and self
improvement programs for corporate and other groups throughout Illinois,
the midwest, and beyond.
